Well, of course they were. I believe it's called a job.
LittleBigPlanet deserves all the success it gets.
You didn't make it past the first stage, or you couldn't make it past the first stage? If it's the latter, I wouldn't be surprised if the game turned itself off.
You can slate Gears of War 2 (or 1.1, as you like to call it) all you like. Notice how very few 360 owners go to the Resistance 2 thread and start bashing that. Why? Because it's clear to see that it's a generic FPS - no one needs to point that out. You criticise Gears of War 2 because you know it's a good game. You can deny that claim all you like - the facts are there. You're obsessed with criticising Gears of War 2, because you know it isn't going to end up on your beloved console.
...
The Act 1 has been previewed very positively by a lot of websites. It's good because it means the game is going to be awesome, but it's also bad because... well, we have to wait to play it.
I am looking immensely forward to the campaign. I completed the first one about 15 times on Insane, because I loved it that darn much.
I've seen enough overwhelmingly positive previews for Gears of War 2 to know that this one particular article doesn't represent everyone who has played the latest build. When the article states that the cheesy dialogue would make them turn the sound down, I just laughed. So, you wouldn't want to hear Cole Train's hilarious lines throughout the story? Gears of War is cheesy - that's what makes it so darn cool. It isn't intended to have a deep, complex story and not every game needs one.

Looks absolutely awesome. November can't come soon enough.
If Soulja Boy Made a Video Game...
...It would be awesome?
I guess the fact that the majority of users on N4G are PS3 owners means anything 360-related is going to get bashed.
Shame really.
You clearly know bugger all about what sequels usually involve, so why don't you just jog along like a nice little boy?
Gears of War 2 is Gears of War 2 - simple. To call it Gears of War 1.5 is to be entirely unaware of what has been added to make this a definitive sequel. Seriously, go play the first game again and you will understand how stupid your commment sounds.
... No one would buy it.
And I suppose Little Big Planet is what all the 'real' men play, right? ;)
Isn't it normal that a sequel is similar to its predecessor? What exactly did they expect - a complete graphics overhaul and a drastic change in gameplay mechanics? That would have been gaming suicide.
Gears of War 2 will kick serious ass, just like the first one did. The fact that it's 'more of the same' is far from a bad thing, although from what I have seen there is certainly more to this sequel than just a couple of minor additions.
The anticipation is killing me. Why can't it be November already?
Like most things in today's media then.
Well, I guess we won't really know which game reigns supreme until October 2nd when the PES 09 demo is released.
Oh come on - like PES was ever going to compete with FIFA in terms of graphics.
Gameplay is where it truly matters, and I am still undecided as to which one is the winner in that department. PES may have the fun-factor and fluid gameplay, but FIFA is much more realistic.
I will probably get both.
Well, thank God it's been drastically reduced - it was so frustrating in Gears of War. Although, I am a little disappointed that it hasn't been entirely removed.
Still, I am glad that Gears of War 2 will be a genuine multiplayer experience. By this, I mean that it won't be a shot-fest with unstoppable hosts.
I think that Gears of War 2 will push the limits of the 360, but not reach them. I am sure there is plenty of life left in the 360 and we will see more great looking games.
There is no doubt that Gears of War 2, despite what Sony Rep believes (although he's hardly impartial is he?), is one of the best looking games on the market.
If you're a PS3 owner, I wouldn't take this too close to heart. Like Crazywhitie points out, Live is a better online service than PSN simply because more money is put into it. In fact, you could say it balances out. Live is a better online service compared to PSN, but PSN is free.
But I also agree with points above - without him elaborating further, I am not entirely sure what he means.
